Message from Mr Morris re: Kla Ha Ya Days Parade

Mr. Morris details the Kla Ha Ya Days parade in downtown Snohomish: parade begins 11am Saturday on 1st Street (Lincoln to Ave D), with Friday/Saturday rehearsals at Snohomish HS; wear band T-shirt, shorts, and closed-toe shoes. Parent walking volunteers needed.

Dear Grizzly Band Members (including recent graduates) and Families,

This is information regarding Saturday’s Kla Ha Ya Days parade in downtown Snohomish. If you are available to participate, please be aware of the following information:

Instrument Pick-up Times: if you are using a school-owned instrument, the Glacier Peak band room will be open on Friday at from 11:00-11:15am, and Saturday from 8:30-8:45am. *Drum line, you will need to pick your instruments up for Friday’s rehearsal at noon.

Rehearsals: There will be two rehearsals – both in the south parking lot at Snohomish High School. Friday, drum line rehearses from Noon-4pm. Brass and Woodwinds will join our rehearsal from 2-4pm. Everybody will rehearse Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30am.

Parade: The parade begins at 11am. The parade route is 1st Street in Snohomish from Lincoln to Avenue D. We will walk from SHS to the staging area, and walk back to SHS when the parade is over. Parent volunteers are needed to walk with students to/from SHS and the parade area.

Attire: Please wear your Grizzly Band t-shirt and shorts to the parade on Saturday. Please remember to wear close-toed shoes.
